About Warm Wisdom Press

We make illustrated story-based daily courses. Short stories. Small daily practices. Real skills that stick because the story sticks first.

Why story-based learning

Most personal-growth advice fails for the same reason: you read it, you nod, you forget. Lists and frameworks slide off because the brain was not built to retain abstract instructions. It was built to retain stories.

Every Warm Wisdom Press course delivers one short illustrated story per day. The story carries the lesson. Then you try one small practice — something specific enough to actually do, small enough to not get in your own way about. Day after day, the practice compounds. The story keeps the idea alive long after the day it arrived.

The skills are grounded in established research: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for the confidence and resilience books, narrative-transportation literature for the story format, decision-science and persuasion research for the professional-skills books, and the inoculation theory developed at Cambridge for the Counter-Hate series. The delivery is the part we own — stories you'll actually remember, written like a letter from someone who is on your side.

Uncle Bob Williams

Uncle Bob Williams is a pen name for the writer-educator who creates the warm-wisdom line at Warm Wisdom Press. The voice is the one we wish we'd had growing up: warm, direct, no patience for fluff, always in your corner.

Books in the warm-wisdom line cover confidence, boundaries with difficult family, judgment in an AI-saturated economy, ethical persuasion, finding the work only you can do, body language, and the three-book Counter-Hate Series on propaganda, belonging, and prejudice.

Bob Williams (Starbound line)

Bob Williams writes the Starbound line — sci-fi-flavored daily courses for readers who want the skills without the sermon. Same research the warm-wisdom books use. Sharper jokes. The persona is the Wry Co-Pilot: someone who has clearly been around, finds the human comedy quietly funny, and has zero patience for self-help solemnity.

Starbound covers the same human-skills territory — persuasion, judgment, body language, belonging, confidence, propaganda recognition — translated into the kind of universe where the lesson is always one short story away. Cosmic illustrations, short lessons, practice small enough that you'll actually do it.

Same publisher. Different audience. Different jokes.

What these courses are not

Every course is free by email. Books are sold on Amazon (Kindle + paperback) for readers who prefer that format. The email course and the book contain the same lessons.
